The NCDD's activities have a twofold goal: to facilitate strategic infrastructural planning in the Netherlands and to raise general awareness of digital preservation issues. A website, mailing lists and work shops will further exchanges of expertise between participating organisations.
In 2009 a national digital preservation survey was conducted to underpin strategic planning.
